This coat could be great if your dog’s up for it. I’ve tried putting it on twice and it’s been a bit of a challenge. The first time was really tough – getting my dog to put their legs into the holes while keeping the coat up was a real struggle. Plus, the zipper didn’t go all the way up to their head, and I even got the fabric caught in it when I was trying to unzip. It’s not a bad coat, but it definitely takes some patience to get it on!

The coat itself is well-made, but the zipper design is a total fail. My dog was just sitting there, minding her own business, when it got caught. Now I’m dreading putting another coat on her. Winter in Wisconsin can be brutal, so she needs one. But this one’s a no-go.

We love this coat for our pup! It’s easy to put on, once we learned how to avoid the zipper catching. It protects his chest, leaves his front legs free, and keeps him cozy warm. I bought a larger one too, as our pup has a long back. It adjusts easily and fits great. We’ll see how it fares after winter.

But the XXXL size is more for small dogs, not my little guy. Azazel is about 220 and the smallest of my Alabais. This jacket doesn’t really fit him. He still wore it and seemed to enjoy it, but with the zipper half open. Obviously, that wouldn’t work with a harness, but my pups don’t use leashes or collars, so it’s all good.

Ordered an XS purple coat for my Yorkie based on their size chart. But when it arrived, the chest girth was 15” – a medium! Neck and length were small. I’m disappointed because an XS I ordered before fit perfectly. Glad I can return it, though.

My Schnauzer-Shih Tzu mix is about 4 and measures 17-18in at the chest, 12in at the neck. The large size fits snugly, especially around the belly. The harness is adjustable and sturdy, even when he gets excited around squirrels! It’s soft and comfy, I’d definitely buy another if needed.

I got this coat for my little 7-month-old pup, and it’s really cute! The fleece lining is cozy, and the outer shell seems sturdy enough to keep the wind and rain out. It fits my dog perfectly with a bit of room for growth, which is great. I love that the harness clips are adjustable—they were a bit long at first, but easy to fix. The zipper works smoothly, and there’s a neat little tab to keep it from unzipping. Overall, a great buy!
